Kannst Du Dein "mixed Raysid Spektrum" in Interspec einlesen?
Dann könntest Du dort eine Kalibrierung der Energieachse machen, vielleicht durchaus mal mit einem Polynom 3.Ordnung (3 Koeffizienten). Dieses Polynom könntest Du Dir mal genauer anschauen, es beschreibt nämlich die Verzerrung entlang der Energieachse. Ist das bei Deinem Raysid irgendwie auffällig im Vergleich zu anderen Raysids oder einem Radiacode, oder einem ähnlichen Instrument? An welchen Stellen ist es auffällig? Dazu plottest Du einfach mal y über x, dabei ist y die Solllage der Peaks laut Tabelle in keV und x die Stelle wo sie nicht ganz korrekt beim Raysid Spektrum rauskamen als Kanalnummer. Dann kannst Du im Forum fragen, wie diese Polynome (Koeffizienten) bei anderen Foristen rauskamen. Vielleicht hilft das Dein Problem zu klären.

Bei meinem Radiacode RC103 lauten die Koeffizienten mit Interspec berechnet
c0 = 6.2160535
c1 = 2.3656178
c2 = 3.673064E-4

Damit kann man "Rohenergie" x der Peaks in Kanalnummer auf die "richtige" Lage auf der Energieachse y rechnen. Da siehst Du, das ist ne Parabel der Bauart
y = c2*x^2+c1*x+c0
Die Energieachse des Radiacode ist also um 6.2keV verschoben, aber weitestgehend linear mit dem Skalierungsfaktor 2.3. D.h man muss grob den Kanal 1024 mit 2.3 multiplizieren um bei der höchsten Energie rauszukommen, aber es gibt dann noch einen kleinen Verzerrungsfaktor von 3.6E-4, den man mit dem Quadrat der Kanalnummer berücksichtigen muss. Diese Zahlen spuckt Dir Interspec auch für den Raysid raus, wenn Du das Spektrum eingelesen bekommst. Das kannst Du dann mit anderen Kollegen vergleichen z.B. mit MS Excel. So siehst Du schnell ob Dein spezielles Gerät mit dem Offset oder der Verzerrung ein Problem hat, oder der Raysid ganz generell.

Here's a brief guide on how to use multi-point calibration:

1) Collect a spectrum using a source from the library. If the source is not in the library, add your own. Ideally, the spectrum should have peaks across the entire range. If there aren't enough peaks, you can repeat the calibration process with a different source.
2) If the spectrum is significantly shifted relative to the library spectrum (this is also noticeable by the peak energies) and it is not identified automatically - then adjust the hardware-level calibration (as in the older app versions) in the menu SETS -> "Hardware Spectrum Calibration". Ensure that the deviation is minimal and that the app identifies the source automatically. For precise calibration, use multi-point calibration:
3) Spectrum tab -> settings button-> calibration. Open the multi-point calibration window and activate the peaks (calibration points) you want to align with. Typically, it's enough to activate the necessary points and click Apply.
Important: You need to activate points from your spectrum and delete all "default/old" points.

...wow, viele neue Funktionen beim Spektrum

Der "Pause"-Button beim Spektrum ist etwas ungewöhnlich.
Hab ihn natürlich prompt beim Screenshot machen erwischt und mich gewundert, dass nicht mehr weiter gezählt wird.
Eine Kalibrierung (+ 96) bei 662 keV ist dringend nötig: ist das der "Altersdrift" oder "Abheben" des SiPMs?
Wem gehts ähnlich?

...geändert hat sich mit der neuen Version auch das Verhalten zur Laufzeit (mir fällt grad der Fachbegriff nicht ein): früher ging nach eingestellter Zeit das Display aus und sparte Batterie. Jetzt nach 11h, gut dass ich das Display sehr dunkel gestellt hatte, sind noch 8% Batterie vorhanden
---> Bug! --> bitte nachbessern

Schön, dass es die Einstellmöglichkeit "App running 24/7" gibt: aber warum soll ich eine App die ganze Zeit laufen lassen???
Kennt jemand im Forum eine Anwenung, wofür das nötig sein sollte?

Auch nicht toll ist der bleibende "Trauerrand", wenn einer der rechten Menübuttons betätigt wurde: erst ein Drehen des Tab um 90° und zurück, stellt die vorherige Anzeige wieder her.

Von welchen Programmen wird *.n42 unterstützt?
@Raysid: bitte wieder *.csv speichern oder zumindest eine Auswahlmöglichkeit csv/n42.
Mit csv habe ich einfach mehr Möglichkeiten...

... noch ein Bug:
nach Update auf 1.3.0 am Tab und auch auf dem Raysid auf 1.4.9587, wird, wenn man ein Phone o.ä. mit  älterer SW hat, nach dem Einschalten und Verbinden wiederum ein Update angeboten.
Das läuft dann wieder ein paar, nicht eine Minute, auf die event. alte Version(??), was ja ein Downgrade wäre. Wenn man dann in den Einstellungen nach sieht, steht da immer noch (wirklich??) die 1.4.9587. Was bezweckt dann die Datenschubserei

Zumindest der Hinweis auf die ältere Version "wollen sie die vorhandene 1.3.0 auf die 1.2.10 updaten" o.ä. ist heute Standart und kann mal sinnvoll sein.

Schön ist das GPS-Log-File: siehe Anhänge.

It's hard to say what exactly is causing the drift. There could be several reasons. Typically, if drift is present, it decreases over time.

From your screenshots, I can see that you need to increase the "Extension" value:
SETS -> "Hardware Spectrum Calibration" -> "Amplifier (Spectrum Extension)"

If a value of +90 is no longer sufficient, please send me an email (include your Raysid name: Raysid-XXXX). We can remotely adjust the calibration on your device. I'll provide you with instructions. If it turns out to be too complicated, you can send the device to us, and we will configure/fix it for free.

The Raysid App keeps the screen active. Nothing has changed in this regard in the app. It has always been this way. If the screen starts turning off, I'll get a lot of negative feedback from uranium "treasure" hunters.

The "App running 24/7" feature is needed in at least two cases:

1) If you want to keep the Bluetooth connection active at all times (for quick startup).
2) For map building.

An N42 file is an XML file. You can open it with a text editor and copy-paste the same data that was in the CSV.

Yes, we currently have the option to downgrade. Some users specifically wanted this feature.
After an update, the app shows the previous firmware version—agreed, a minor bug that needs fixing.
Version verification happens during app startup. Restart the app, and you'll see the current firmware version.
